Human rights education as well as legislations and policies in respective country will certainly play a crucial role to ameliorate the situation, and in this sense, we believe that this volume will provide you with insights in advancing the promotion of human rights. As many of us are aware, human rights institutions and defenders in the region have been facing serious challenges and obstacles to achieve human rights in many places of the world. 4Ħ Foreword We have another important collection of articles in this volume that presents a variety of human rights education experiences in Asia.
